Mission of the Position:
The Receiving Associate is responsible for ensuring all materials are received on a daily basis and will notify the purchasing department of any missing or over-shipped items. The Receiving Associate will assist the warehouse team with unloading, auditing, and storing all products.

• Utilize receiver and packing slips when receiving material.
• Place all material in the correct locations.
• Create notes on bill of lading on any damaged shipments.
• Notify the supervisor of any missing or over shipped items when completing receiving po# within question.
• Stock shelves and rotate material for oldest to the newest daily.
• Help keep the warehouse clean daily.
• Answer and respond to customer inquiries, requirements, and needs.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and ships.
• Verify documents and reports in accordance with the unloaded merchandise.
• Perform and execute functions relating to merchandise preparation, staging and outbound shipments.
• Maintain and manage stockroom records, reports, and inventories.

• Perform additional duties as required.

• This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Certifications & Licenses

No certifications and/or licenses applicable

Experience

Up to 2 years of related experience and/or training in receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory required

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience Working In a Warehouse Setting Preferred
