Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by a Profit Center Manager as if it were its own small business. A typical PC is the heart of our business, consisting of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom, and conducts business under a unique trade name with a customized business approach.

Pay for this role is between $18 and $22 per hour.

• Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to the designated employee.
• Identify non‑stock, special‑order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third‑party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/non‑saleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety; remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris; inform supervisor of safety issues.
• Assist co‑workers in servicing customers.
• Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management.

• 1 year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co‑workers.
• Apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment used at the Profit Center.
• Use computer‑related systems used for warehouse operations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
