Order Processor Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for managing daily order pick sheets, pulling spools of stock cable, cutting, and loading the required length onto blank spools. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure the correct length matches the order. Finished spools will be packaged using shrink wrap, and the remaining stock will be recorded accurately when returning products.

• Receive and manage daily pick sheets.
• Pull, cut, and load stock cable onto spools as per order requirements.
• Package finished spools with shrink wrap.
• Record the amount of stock left on spools accurately.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Proficiency in pulling orders using pick sheets or order sheets.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to assist in various warehouse tasks.
• Computer literacy for printing orders through the system.

• Experience in inventory management.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

The role is based in a very large warehouse with a small team of about four people. The environment is non-air‑conditioned, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Houston, TX.
