Warehouse Associate - CT (Houston, Texas, United States, 77092)

Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States, Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. We are seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of material handling duties: pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Handle receiving duties: receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate crane forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility: sweeping, removing trash, restroom, and performing general office maintenance.
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips when needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying safety rules and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required Experience and Knowledge

• High School diploma or equivalent;
  Certified Forklift Operator.
• Crane forklift experience.
• Preferred: 1+ years of previous warehouse experience.

Competencies

Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail‑oriented, and safety‑conscious.

Physical Requirements

Regularly stand, use hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. Must lift 15–30 lbs regularly, and may need to lift up to 70 lbs. Requires vision abilities: close, peripheral, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
