The inventory coordinator’s responsibility is to oversee warehouse inventory accuracy and project closeouts final counts. The coordinator is responsible for completing scheduled cycle counts, maintaining transactional movements in ERP system to ensure accurate inventory accuracy and value. The coordinator is also responsible for central inventory yearly counts along with consistent accuracy of available items.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as back up contact for all inventory control when Inventory Lead in out.
  • Communicating with Inventory Lead on any inventory related issues.
  • Identify and tag inventory items including proper storage per warehouse processes.
  • Organize inventory according to standards set by processes and Inventory Lead.
  • Learn and optimize best consolidation practices as defined by processes and Inventory Lead.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • Cycle count counting all scheduled bins to ensure accuracy throughout inventory.
  • Completing TEI warehouse discrepancy reports as issue are found.
  • Operate stand up and sit-down forklift.
  • Promote safety awareness and comply with all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
  • Be familiar with Company HSE policies and procedures.
  • Work with other warehouse team members to fix inventory discrepancies.
  • Become proficient in researching Inventory history and movements in ERP system and well as manual logs and other systems.
  • Coordinates finish part movements from shop cell locations to warehouse inventory bin location.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with an inventory control system.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong decision-making skills, initiative and assertiveness.
  • Must be able to operate a stand up and sit-down forklift.
