Lead Logistics Partner

Job Summary

The Logistics Partner Lead will be responsible for all activities relating to the shipping of components, confirming and maintaining the completed order of required documents. They will assist the regional distribution center in confirming actual inventory and will help expedite the shipping process. They also access sources to locate cost beneficial shipping that is customer focused.

• Works closely with approved carrier provider, Provides fast and efficient responses to inquiries from customers and shipping partners
• Provides and completes all documentation for Import/Export shipments.
• Keeps everyone informed as to status of shipments using excellent communication skills
• Pays close attention to details with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, adaptability and responsiveness Posting and managing shipments using web based tools and websites
• Oversee daily operations of Toshiba RDC partners
• Respond to questions and concerns of RDC contacts
• Run reports monitoring daily/weekly/monthly performance of individual RDCs
• Run reports to monitor order status for auditor review
• Provides fast and efficient responses to inquiries from internal customers and shipping partners
• Retrieve and upload signed documentation from RDCs of shipment pickups into EBS
• Produce commercial invoices for international ships (i.e. CCI)
• Periodic travel to RDC sites to review and train on processes and procedures
• Knowledge of International Export/Import documentation requirements including INCOTERMS 2010 and harmonized codes
