Drives a rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load truck along designated routes to collect waste and take to post-collection facilities.;
Assist helpers in loading solid waste into truck hopper and backing up safely according to policy.;
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.;
Courteously interact with customers along the route; respond to requests and notify supervisor as needed.;
Maintain DOT logs, daily route/productivity sheets, and post-trip inspections; ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA/EPA regulations.
