Used Car Assistant

D&M Leasing is seeking a dedicated, punctual, and highly responsible Porter/Vehicle Runner to join our Houston team. This role is the "connective tissue" of our logistics, ensuring that vehicles move safely and efficiently between our facility, third-party vendors, and partner dealerships. The ideal candidate is a professional driver who understands that the safety of the vehicle and the efficiency of the lot are top priorities.

• Vehicle Transport: Safely drive and transport vehicles between D&M Leasing, local dealerships, and third-party service providers (Recon, Detail, etc.).
• Logistics Coordination: Work closely with Sales Agents and the inventory team to prioritize vehicle movements.
• Communication: Provide accurate and proactive Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) to the team to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Lot Organization: Assist in the physical organization of the vehicle lot, ensuring cars are parked neatly, safely, and in their designated zones.
• Inventory Support: Assist in checking in vehicles and ensuring keys are tagged and moved to the correct locations immediately upon arrival.
• Quality Control: Perform basic visual inspections during transport to ensure vehicles are being returned in the expected condition.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 / Hour.

• Safety First: Must have a clean driving record and a deep commitment to safe driving practices in all traffic and weather conditions.
• Punctuality: Ability to arrive on time daily (8:30 AM) to ensure the morning workflow begins without delay.
