A Day in the Life:
As the Delivery Driver, you will safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck. You will load, unload, deliver and return cylinders while frequently interacting with customers. You will be part of a professional team that supports work-life balance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Cylinder Handling
:
Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations. - Record Keeping
:
Accurately record deliveries and pickups on a load manifest, obtain customer signatures, and return empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders to a plant or branch for refilling. - Safety and Compliance
:
Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA). - Warehouse Support
:
Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.
- Required: Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver s license with medical examiner s card, hazmat & airbrake endorsements.
- Experience: At least 1 year of Class A or B driving in the last 5 years with a clean driving record (no more than two convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years; or one conviction and one at-fault accident).

Experience:
Diploma from an accredited driving school may be considered. - Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Skills: Ability to maintain customers safety credentials to enter sites; read and understand material safety data sheets; read and comprehend safety documents.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly, and 76 to greater than 125 lbs with assistance; able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending; ability to work independently and under pressure; occasional overtime.
