As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex to specialized transport and heavy haul freight forwarding activities. Requires full knowledge of customers and carrier’s, addressing complex or escalated internal/external customer questions and concerns, and providing customer service, quotes and tracking.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the transportation and logistics of projects from initiation through completion
• Oversee high-priority import, export, domestic shipments, ensuring adherence to contractual deadlines
• Execute government-regulated shipments, including U.S. Flag compliance and export licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient project execution
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and service providers, ensuring clear communication and resolution of operational issues.
• Maintain schedule and communicate regularly with the customer with timely status updates and notify them of any deviations
• Deliver projects within the specified budget, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for process improvement for cost savings
• Ensure KPIs are met in alignment with company standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Handle project scope changes with the client and coordinate internal adjustments
• Evaluate risk and address with the appropriate internal resources to mitigate those risks
• Maintain accurate transportation documentation and financial records for all shipments
• Track transportation invoicing from suppliers and support timely billing to clients
• Manage and negotiate contracts with transportation providers and other service providers
• Drive compliance with all applicable laws, international trade regulations, customs requirements and HSE standards
• Identify and implement strategies to improve logistics processes, efficiency and service quality
• Receive bookings from agents or clients and prepare and follow up on quotations to clients
• Negotiate with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, overseas offices and agents for all modes of transportation, to ensure price competitiveness and profitability
• Coordinate with operations teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery to end customers.
• Assist in preparing RFQs, bid tenders, and the execution of shipment plans in response to client requests
• Lead, develop, support and train assigned Project Coordinators
• Spearhead projects with full accountability and complete ownership at every stage until completion

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the freight forwarding industry, with specific experience in the movement of EPC projects and managing complex multimodal Shipments (air, land, sea)
• In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements
• Experience in oil & gas, power, or infrastructure projects
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects
