Operations Manager - Asset-Based 3PL (Drayage / Port of Houston)

What You'll Do
As an Operations Manager, you will:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers
• Match freight with capacity to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery
• Negotiate rates and manage customer and carrier contracts
• Coordinate dispatch, driver assignments, and driver pay
• Perform yard checks, track chassis, manage empty returns, and meet port cutoffs

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of containerized freight and/or drayage experience
• Existing customer and/or carrier relationships
• Port experience, specifically Port of Houston
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation
• Ability to manage both customer and carrier relationships
