Are you ready for an exciting opportunity that puts you in the driver's seat? At Newrest, we’re looking for enthusiastic Drivers to load galley equipment onto our trucks and deliver top-notch catering services to a variety of aircraft!

You will take responsibility for the vehicle you're driving and its cargo, ensuring the utmost safety of yourself and others while operating in an exciting and dynamic environment on the airfield.

You will be trained and coached of all necessary customer guidelines and our safety regulations operating as an ambassador for our company at all times.

• Load and unload of all equipment on trucks with precision and care
• Check the conformity of the amount of trolleys and cabinets to be delivered before loading
• Fill pre-trip inspection book & perform mandatory safety checks of the vehicle for each shift
• Ensure loading the products into vehicles according to plan galley
• Ensure on time delivery of all items for each flight
• Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatcher
• Drive a heavy vehicle respecting traffic regulations (road and track)
• Secure all products before delivery to the aircraft by sealing material (truck)
• Ensure compliance of loading according to the procedures in place
• Ensure cleaning of the vehicle and the area around the dock after each shift
• Fill various security documents (certificate...), safety and HACCP
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Observe the proper use of equipment
• Follow all procedure for health, safety and security
• Maintain clean working area, maintain clean loading docks, maintain clean equipment following rules
• Be diligent, punctual, and reliable
• Perform other duties assigned

• Must have valid drivers license with a safe driving record
  - No violations
• Must be 21 years old to apply
• Must have experience driving larger vehicles in a work setting; CDL not required
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
• Must be able to pass all required airport security (SIDA), City of Houston, and Customs Border Patrol clearance
• Prior experience in airline or aviation related industry is a plus but not required
• Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work outdoors and varying temperatures and environments
• Understand the rules of hygiene, safety and security
• Must be able to stand, push and pull on continuous basis
• Must be a Citizen of the USA or Permanent Resident
• Must be able to reach equipment controls up :
  Must reach up to 82 inches.
• Ground to first step clearance : 26 inches (Initial step must be accessible without straining).
• First step to middle step : 11 inches.
• Middle step to top step : 20 inches.
• First step to yellow step : 14 inches.
• First step to top step : 30 inches.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends

• Valid drivers license
