Delivery Specialist - Hub
O'Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a Delivery Specialist – Hub to deliver parts and products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers safely and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
- Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route.
- Maintain daily route manifest and vehicle/fuel card, vehicle, and keys security.
- Ensure invoices are verified and route manifest signed by designated team member at each store.
- Report any delays to city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores.
- Project a professional image to maintain good customer relations.
- Communicate problems or special needs from stores to store management.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Check fluid levels and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager and ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle locked and secure at end of day.
- Drive safely and defensively.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
