We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to support SOMA Hotel & Restaurant operations and provide executive transportation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for restaurant supply pickups, vendor coordination, staff transportation, and executive support while maintaining vehicles and supporting daily operational logistics. This position requires a safety-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate both urban and rural terrain in Georgetown and surrounding areas.

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for hotel staff and management
• Drive General Manager and executives to business appointments, meetings, and site visits
• Transport staff to/from work locations and business‑related destinations
• Navigate Georgetown area and surrounding regions including rural and off‑road locations
• Restaurant & Hotel Operations Support
• Pick up food supplies, ingredients, and restaurant inventory from vendors and markets
• Transport restaurant equipment, supplies, and materials as needed
• Collect deliveries from suppliers and coordinate with kitchen and operations staff
• Support catering events with transportation of food, equipment, and staff
• Assist with restaurant logistics including vendor pickups and supplier coordination
• Vehicle Management
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of all assigned vehicles
• Monitor fuel levels, tire pressure, and basic vehicle systems
• Report maintenance needs and coordinate service appointments
• Ensure vehicles are properly secured and parked
• Operational Support
• Assist with hotel and restaurant logistics including supply runs and vendor pickups
• Handle secure transportation of daily bank deposits and financial documents
• Deliver documents, invoices, and communications to clients and vendors
• Support mail runs, courier duties, and administrative errands
• Coordinate with restaurant management for inventory and supply transportation
• Customer Service
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance when interacting with vendors and suppliers
• Represent SOMA Hotel & Restaurant professionally during vendor interactions
• Handle vendor pickups and deliveries with attention to quality and timeliness
• Coordinate with restaurant and hotel staff for supply and logistics needs

• Valid Guyana driver's license with clean driving record
• Minimum: 2 years of professional driving experience
• Preferred: 3+ years in hospitality, corporate, or service industry driving roles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
