Build a cohesive Personal Training team, ensure they have a healthy pipeline of clients, and provide an exceptional fitness experience for all members. This role focuses on conducting welcome workouts, guiding new members through their initial fitness experiences, and driving personal training sales.
Responsibilities- Ensure daily targets are met, especially during weekends or in the absence of the Fitness Manager, by leading the team and driving sales initiatives.
- Promote personal training packages and build strong rapport with members to drive sales.
- Achieve sales targets for personal training services and small group training sessions, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
- Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring a smooth transition into the club.
- Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate their fitness needs and goals.
- Guide new members through their initial club experience, fostering a positive, supportive environment that promotes personal training sales and member retention.
- Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through regular coaching sessions and continuous support.
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff, ensuring everyone understands their roles.
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols.
- 2–3 years of customer service experience.
- 1 year of sales experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with members, clients, employees, management, and vendors.
- Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills at all levels.
- Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough problem‑solving approach; good time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must possess a valid Personal Training certification.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work in a gym setting; move about gym floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.
- Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.

Hourly Pay Range: $13—$15 USD
