We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our core software platform. This role will be part of a wider development team and will report directly to the Platform Development Lead. The ideal candidate is a quality-focused engineer with strong experience in test automation, modern QA practices, and collaboration within agile development teams.

Description:

* Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for our core platform

* Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing

* Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and platform engineers to ensure quality is built into every stage of development

* Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies

* Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with engineering teams to resolve issues

* Advocate for best practices in software quality assurance across the organization

* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and quality gates

* Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering

* Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

* Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java)

* Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins)

* Familiarity with API testing (REST, Graph

QL) and performance/load testing tools

* Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies

* Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to leverage AI-driven testing tools and agentic workflows to enhance automation, coverage, and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

* 5+ years experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation

* Prior experience working in agile development teams and contributing to CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with testing distributed systems or microservices architectures

* Knowledge of performance engineering and security testing

* Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring practices
