Job Overview
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, invites applications for an Automation Engineer in the Innovation Team. This hybrid position is based in a U.S. office and reports to the Director of Innovation and Client Value.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Development
- Build and maintain automation workflows using Microsoft Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory)
- Develop solutions within the Power Platform environment (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
- Integrate third‑party RPA/automation platforms to extend automation capabilities
- Integration & Orchestration
- Create robust integrations across diverse systems using APIs, scripting (Power Shell, Python), and orchestration tools
- Ensure seamless data flow and process automation across legal, financial, and operational systems
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with business stakeholders, legal teams, and IT to understand requirements and deliver impactful automation solutions
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable automation designs
- Governance & Optimization
- Ensure all solutions comply with firm‑wide security, compliance, and governance standards
- Monitor and optimize automation performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
- Maintain documentation and contribute to a knowledge‑sharing culture
- Strong Proficiency With
- Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory)
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
- RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience in a fast‑paced law firm environment with diverse needs
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in automation engineering or a related field
- Experience working in a legal or professional services environment is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages (Power Shell, Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration patterns
- Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and governance frameworks
$78,000 – $86,000 per year
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
