We are looking for a LabVIEW Software Engineer to join our team with JETS.
The LabVIEW Software Engineer will:- Design and implement software for design, development, test, and certification of flight hardware
- Gather and analyze requirements
- Design and develop data acquisition systems for test rigs
- Test and debug software issues
- Coordinate test activities and requirements with NASA test facilities
- Support test setup and execution
- Develop testing and operations documentation
- Coordinate software development with other disciplines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary technical reviews
- Perform other duties as required

Qualifications - ExternalRequisition
Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5-10 years of related experience.
Experience with data acquisition and processing.
Experience with NI LabVIEW for system control, system test, data storage and analysis.
Experience with Compact
RIO RT/FPGA platform. Experience with LabVIEW object Oriented Programming (LVOOP). Experience with Git for source code control. Experience with C/C++ coding in a Linux environment. Experience with scripting languages such as Python.

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and MachinesStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
AttendanceRegular attendance in accordance with the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
