AI Engineer
We are partnering with a Houston based consulting firm engineering the next generation of intelligence for energy, industrial, and complex enterprise environments.
This team does not build dashboards. They build autonomous systems.
They bridge the gap between raw data and agentic action, modernizing legacy workflows with AI native architectures.
If you want to move beyond prompt engineering and build real execution capable AI systems, this is that role.
The OpportunityThis is a Full Stack Software Engineering role focused on Agentic AI. You will design and deploy multi agent frameworks that do more than answer questions. These systems execute complex, multi-step business processes across enterprise ecosystems. This is hands on engineering. Not experimentation. Not theory.
What You’ll Do Architect Agentic Systems- Design and implement multi agent systems using Lang Graph, CrewAI, Auto Gen, or other Agent SDKs
- Build autonomous workflows that execute business logic end to end
- Develop AI integrated front ends using React or Next.js
- Build backend microservices using FastAPI and Python
- Leverage Azure Databricks for orchestration, pipelines, and enterprise scale compute
- Refactor legacy deterministic applications into probabilistic, agent driven systems
- Implement structured reasoning and decision loops
- Design and secure RAG pipelines
- Integrate vector databases and enterprise data sources through Databricks
- Build high performance REST and Graph
QL APIs - Create the service layer that acts as the hands and eyes of AI agents
- Implement CI CD pipelines for LLM based systems
- Deploy automated evaluation frameworks including LLM as a judge
- Monitor drift, reliability, and performance
- Deploy to Azure Kubernetes Service or Azure Container Apps
- 3 to 7 years of full stack software engineering experience
- 1 to 2 years of AI enabled engineering experience using tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, or Git Hub Copilot
- Experience building production APIs and microservices
- Front end experience with React or Next.js
- Hands on experience with Azure, ideally Azure Databricks
- Familiarity with vector databases and RAG architectures
- Comfort working in fast moving, AI native environments
- You are building execution capable AI, not chatbots
- You will work on real enterprise deployments in energy and industrial sectors
- You will influence architecture, not just contribute tickets
- You will help define how agentic systems operate in production environments
If you are excited about building autonomous AI systems that operate inside real enterprise ecosystems and not just experimental playgrounds, this is worth a conversation.
