United Against Human Trafficking is a non-profit organization committed to providing comprehensive support and advocacy for survivors of human trafficking. Our mission is to empower survivors on their path to recovery and self-sufficiency. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Service Navigator to join our team and play a vital role in coordinating adult victim referrals, managing partnerships, and supporting programmatic initiatives.
Job SummaryAs a Service Navigator for United Against Human Trafficking, you will be a crucial member of the Programs Department, serving as the primary UAHT point of contact for adult human trafficking referrals connected to the Fort Bend County Anti-Trafficking Collective (ATC). You will coordinate referrals to partner organizations, ensure continuity of care, and maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
This role will also support broader programmatic tasks and initiatives within UAHT, including collaboration on events, projects, and community engagements.
This position requires flexibility and responsiveness to address urgent needs as they arise.
Education/Experience- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with adult survivors of trafficking, crisis intervention, or service coordination preferred
- Experience working with multi-agency partnerships or coalitions a plus
This position reports directly to the Director of Programs
QualificationsATC Partnership & Adult Referral Coordination
- Serve as the primary UAHT point of contact for adult referrals connected to the Fort Bend County Anti-Trafficking Collective
- Respond to referrals and coordinate with partner organizations in alignment with ATC processes
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with ATC partners and internal teams
- Case Operations—working alongside case managers planning & implementing
Programmatic Support
- Support programmatic projects and initiatives across UAHT as assigned
- Assist with planning, coordination, and facilitation of events, workshops, and community engagements
Client Support & Resource Coordination
- Conduct initial assessments to determine survivor immediate needs, safety concerns, and appropriate resources
- Connect clients to essential community services and support their navigation of resources
- Support safety planning and provide crisis-informed guidance as needed
Documentation & Operations
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in accordance with UAHT standards
- Support internal reporting, data collection, and operational needs related to referrals and services
Administrative & Special Projects
- Provide administrative support for departmental operations and assist with additional projects or initiatives as assigned.
General Responsibilities
Agency Compliance
- Reports to work consistently and on time; ensures responsibilities are covered when absent
- Adheres to UAHT policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality
- Communicates proactively and professionally with internal teams and external partners

- Works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners

- Provides and welcomes feedback; participates constructively in team problem-solving and decision-making
