Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in Tipton, IA
. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-27/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
- MIG welding using metal cored wire
- Cutting material using acetylene and/or plasma torch
- Drill, grind and fit parts per blueprints
- Forklift operation
- Moving materials
- Must be dependable and show up daily
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in structural steel welding from blueprints
- D1.1 certification preferred
- Must pass a vertical and overhead tack test on 1/2” plate
- Must pass a 2G weld test on 1” plate and be certified within the first week
