This is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, for a Welder at CMC Scaffolding. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding, to fabricate and repair scaffolding equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities includes, preparing materials, ensuring the proper operation of welding tools and equipment, and producing quality welds in adherence to safety standards and specifications.
The Welder will also inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and durability.
- Proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding techniques
- Strong expertise in Welding and working with various Materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices and protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, precise welds
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in welding is a plus
