The PositionWe're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated technician to help maintain our clients' interior plant displays. In this hands‑on role, you'll care for a wide variety of tropical and indoor plants, ensuring they remain healthy, beautiful, and long‑lasting. You'll work independently at client sites while staying connected to our team for support and guidance.
Position Responsibilities- Care for indoor plant displays through regular watering, cleaning, pruning, pest control, and general maintenance.
- Evaluate plant health and implement care adjustments to promote longevity and reduce loss.
- Track and organize plant inventory, including intake of new materials.
- Communicate effectively with your supervisor and team to report updates or issues.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients while working in their spaces.
- Recommend plant replacements or care adjustments based on plant conditions.
- Follow established service schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
- Transport and install new plant material and decorative enhancements according to design specifications.
- Assist with seasonal rotations and special project installations as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of customer sites, service carts, and tools.
- Follow instructions reliably and uphold schedule commitments with professionalism and attention to detail at each client location.
- Maintain a safe work environment, following safety protocols and using proper equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Valid Texas driver's license required.
- Reliable vehicle for travel required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year experience in plant care, horticulture, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to life objects weighing 20-50 lbs. from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position.
- Comfortable using pruners, scissors, and other basic tools, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tropical plant care and common pests/diseases is a plus.
- Ability to confidently drive and navigate both urban and suburban routes.
- Must have a clean driving record and be willing to travel between client sites throughout the day.
- Effective time management and reliability.
- Ability to think critically and problem‑solve effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Confidence in using mobile devices and basic technology for efficient tracking, communication, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying client environments.
