Maintenance Tech - IAH

A Maintenance Tech is responsible for in-house maintenance of facilities.

• General building and equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Light carpentry, painting
• Electrical repair and modifications
• Responsible for HVAC: heating, ventilation, air conditioning
• Ensure all refrigerated units are operational at all time
• Ensure all department Logs are properly maintained
• Miscellaneous maintenance duties deemed necessary by management.

• 2 years’ experience in facility maintenance
• Two (2) certifications (not licenses) in work related areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, boilers, welding, and/or
• Full compliance with all work rules
• Safe work record, practice safe work habits, following Standard Operating Procedures
• An excellent attendance record and no EPR for the past 6 months.
• Flexibility - able to react to changing priorities
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
• Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment and tools
• Must be able to lift and push 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Must be able to work in small spaces and climb ladders
• Must be able to Sida Airport Badge
• Must be able to drive up to a 24 foot cargo truck.
