Journeyman Pipefitter | Training and Mentorship

Are you a Journeyman Pipefitter ready to focus on training apprentices instead of working full-time on the tools?

We’re hiring an experienced pipefitter to train and mentor apprentices in the renewable energy industry. No prior teaching experience required; we provide instructor training.

One week onsite working directly with apprentices.

The following week working remotely from home delivering virtual instruction.

• Train and support pipe fitting apprentices
• Provide hands‑on instruction during onsite weeks
• Deliver virtual instruction during remote weeks
• Prepare apprentices for OSHA‑10 and NCCER
• Track skill development and progress
• Travel within your assigned area (about 50%)
• Work directly with apprentices in the field and online, guiding and supporting their development

• 3+ years experience as a Pipefitter
• Construction Experience Required
• Industrial, mechanical, or process piping experience preferred
• Journeyman Pipefitter certification preferred
• Bilingual preferred
• Comfortable using basic technology for virtual instruction
• Willing to travel

No Prior Instructor Experience Required.

• NCCER Instructor or ICTP Certification (must obtain within 30 days – will help you)
• Must pass a pipe fitting competency test

• $75,000–$80,000 salary
