We are actively seeking an experienced skilled Lead Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of low voltage systems, be solution‑driven, and exhibit a strong attention to detail. This candidate will be responsible for performing skilled security system installations and assisting with supervising others with access control and CCTV installation. This individual must have at least 3 years of direct experience in installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, and Burglar and Fire Alarms in residential and commercial settings.

• Professional installation of cabling, access control components, CCTV systems, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems. Lead by example by upholding the highest installation standards in the industry and hold the team accountable to professional standards.
• Troubleshoot service technical issues and offer timely solutions.
• Safely operate hand tools, work at heights on ladders and lifts, keep accurate inventory, and maintain safety standards on‑site and off.
• Perform computer program entry as required and prepare documentation for compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.
• Respectfully communicate with coworkers and project lead on daily progress; collaborate with team members and clients to provide optimum solutions tailored to their needs.
• Read and understand technical drawings, project documentation, and work orders including scope of work.
• Consistently communicate with management and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the industry; participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Offer assistance with project designs and quotations when needed.

• Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.

• Must be able to differentiate colors.

• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.

• Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of Texas and meet our company driving standards.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment relevant to the job.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Will be required to pass a background check to get State License.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Certification from a recognized institution in low voltage technology or a related field.
• Experience with integration of AV systems is a plus.
• Prior experience in customer service.
• Military service.
