Commercial Maintenance Technician – Facilities Maintenance Management, LLC. (FMM)
FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing residential and commercial clients nationwide. We are seeking a motivated professional to fill the Commercial Maintenance Technician position.

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all building operating systems on site. Technician will be assigned to multiple locations and must be available for after‑hour emergency calls when on call.
EssentialJob Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance, and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct routine lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, replacement of consumables, and periodic testing of equipment.
- Respond to safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental requests via personal contact and work‑order systems.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records.
- Coordinate contractor, tenant, and management approvals for work orders requiring outside contractors.
- Perform all work to ensure safety of building occupants and continuous operation.
- Follow written operating procedures and maintain organized files.
Skills and Abilities
Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Basic electrical skills (e.g., change‑out wall receptacles, reset breakers)
- Light carpentry (replace trim, studs, flooring)
- Sheetrock work (patch, tape, finish texture)
- Light plumbing (install faucets, water heaters, fix leaks)
- Basic HVAC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Door repairs (adjust, replace hinges, handles, deadbolts)
- Leak repairs on windows, doors, metal or shingle roofs
- Painting (walls, ceilings, trim)
- Exceptional customer service and time‑management skills
- Ability to plan ahead for upcoming work orders
- High School Diploma
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in computer, text, and email skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions aligning with FMM’s values (Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, Integrity)
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Lift up to 15 pounds
- Pass Fit for Duty screening
