Heavy Truck Mechanic – Reytec Construction Resources
Houston, TX | $41,600.00 - $
We are seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic who will perform maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and machinery. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring safety compliance.
Responsibilities- Repair and maintain heavy truck systems including brakes, powertrain, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Work with Ford and Cummins diesel and gasoline engines.
- Apply welding, electrical diagnostics, and computer diagnostics to resolve mechanical problems.
- Use hand and power tools and welding equipment.
- Maintain accurate work records and complete work orders.
- Experience repairing heavy trucks and heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and judgment skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Complete set of hand and power tools.
