Industrial Electrician - Mt. Vernon, IL

United Trades of America is hiring skilled Industrial Electricians for an upcoming project in Mt. Vernon, Illinois
. This opportunity is ideal for electricians with experience in high-volume industrial environments
, particularly those with expertise in conveyor-driven equipment, PLCs, and motor controls
.

• Location: Mt. Vernon, IL (must be willing to travel)
• Pay Rate: Up to $33 per hour (based on experience)
• Per Diem: $120 per day worked
• Hours: Full-time, project-based work with potential overtime
• Industry: Industrial Electrical

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems
• Perform terminations on low and high voltage systems
• Run and install rigid and EMT conduit
• Troubleshoot and wire motor controls and PLCs
• Assemble and install conveyor-driven equipment and machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Conduct safety checks and ensure all electrical systems meet compliance standards
• Work efficiently in fast-paced, high-production industrial environments

• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Strong knowledge of low and high voltage systems, conduit bending, and terminations
• Extensive experience working with motor controls, PLCs, and conveyor systems
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
• Must have your own tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
• Must adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
