Diesel Tech

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Technician to join our maintenance and repair team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filters, brake service, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and recommend repairs.
• Repair and replace defective parts such as turbochargers, injectors, pumps, clutches, and driveline components.
• Maintain accurate repair logs, service records, and work orders.
• Operate company equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with the service manager and parts department to ensure timely repairs and parts availability.

• Required:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical troubleshooting, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
