Job SummaryQualified to perform the construction, maintenance, and repairs of overhead electrical distribution systems. The lineman assembles and sets poles, strings lines, installs and connects underground utilities, installs pole‑mounted equipment, inspects lines for damage, tests equipment, and makes necessary repairs while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble and set poles, string lines, and install underground utilities.
- Install and connect pole‑mounted equipment.
- Inspect lines for damage, test equipment, and perform necessary repairs.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations to minimize risks associated with high‑voltage electricity.
- TWIC & CDL required.
- Must be able to operate bucket trucks and/or dirt diggers.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs and around a jobsite.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
