Position Summary
Journeyman Electrician – Houston Area Locations (Texas Medical Center).
Work schedule:
Tuesday – Friday, 3 pm‑1 am. Travel required to multiple Houston-area facilities (League City, West Houston, The Woodlands, Northwest Houston, and others).
USD $57,500 – $86,500 annually.
Responsibilities- Install, alter, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment at journeyman level подарок.
- Interpret and execute work from instructions, blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
- Estimate work costs, order materials, and maintain inventory of parts.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and other systems.
- Respond to emergencies and critical equipment alarms.
- Investigate outages and coordinate workflows with technicians and mechanics.
- Conduct walk‑through inspections of construction projects and create punch lists.
- Respond to customer calls and provide service.
- Document corrective action, labor hours, and materials used on work orders.
- Communicate timely with supervisors regarding issues encountered.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship (preferred).
- One year Byrne‑journeyman experience in commercial/industrial electrical work, including interior and exterior wiring and repair of equipment.
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license (required).
- Valid Texas Master Electrician license (required).
- Valid class A, B or C Texas driver’s license; eligible to operate state and institutional vehicles (preferred).
- Flexibility to travel throughout Houston‑area locations.
- Journeyman Electrician – Texas (required).
- Master Electrician – Texas (required).
- Driver’s License – Class A, B or C, Texas (preferred).
