Compensation: $30–$45/hr DOE + OT | Company Truck, Laptop, Cell Phone | Full Benefits | 50% Travel
Join our power system team as an Electrical Field Service Testing Technician
. You’ll commission, maintain, and troubleshoot medium- to high-voltage systems (480V–345kV), focusing on protective relays, electrical controls, and diagnostics for commercial, industrial, and utility clients.
$30.00/yr - $45.00/yr
Key Responsibilities- Acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning tests on power systems
- Protective relay testing (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor)
- Troubleshoot circuits, switch gear, transformers, breakers, MCCs
- Interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, and relay logic
- Deliver technical reports per NETA, IEEE, NFPA 70E standards
- Uphold strict safety standards on all job sites
- 1–3+ years in electrical testing or commissioning
- Strong knowledge of breakers, relays, transformers, control systems
- Skilled in reading schematics and using test equipment/software
- Valid driver’s license, clean record
- Preferred: U.S. Navy EM/ET or Army Prime Power, NETA II, NICET III/IV, OSHA 10/30
- Company truck, laptop, and cell phone
- Paid travel across regional/national job sites
