Lead Installer – Small Signs and Graphics

Innovative Environments is seeking an experienced Lead Installer for commercial signage. The role requires supervising on‑site installation crews, ensuring crew safety and quality, and physically installing ADA signage. The installer will also handle administrative reporting and collaborate cross‑departmentally in a fast‑paced environment.

Innovative Environments, based in Houston, TX, provides custom solutions for corporate interiors, broadcast studios, and signage projects across corporate and multifamily sectors.

Position Description

The Lead Installer will supervise the installation crew on site to ensure safety, quality, and world‑class service while maintaining effective communication with all parties. The installer will physically install ADA signage and must be able to travel out of state.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise installation crew on the job site.
  • Ensure crew safety and quality of installation.
  • Communicate effectively with PMs, clients, and crew.
  • Physically install ADA signage.
  • Enter data into the End of Install Report (daily).
  • Report installation issues to PMs and clients in real time.
  • Input updates into Fieldwire (daily).
  • Accurately log time into company software (daily).
Competencies
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Timely and punctual with attendance and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Tech‑savvy and capable of using Power and Hand tools (drills, saws, angle grinders).
  • Ability to work under pressure and be detail oriented.
Candidate Should Possess
  • Sign installation and/or fabrication experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to travel out of state.
