* Position Summary:

** The Field Technician will be responsible for performing precise field measurements at various job sites for MIT Industrial projects. This role requires extensive travel both locally and nationwide, working independently to gather and document data essential for project execution.
*
* Key Responsibilities:

*** Travel to job sites across the country to perform field measurements and data collection.
* Read, interpret, and understand piping isometric drawings to ensure accurate measurement and documentation.
* Work independently without direct supervision, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and reliability on the jobsite.
* Communicate effectively with customers to understand and address their requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Utilize drafting and measurement skills to produce accurate field sketches and reports; proficiency in AutoCAD is highly desirable.
* Comprehend basic design concepts to support project planning and execution.
* Safely climb ladders and scaffolding as required for site access and measurement tasks.
* Maintain a good driving record and adhere to all safety and travel policies.

* Qualifications:

*** Experience in field measurement, drafting, or related technical roles.
* Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings and technical documentation.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to relate to customer needs and project requirements.
* Demonstrated drafting and measurement skills;
AutoCAD experience is a plus.
* Understanding of basic design principles and concepts.
* Physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding and perform work in various site conditions.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
** Preferred

Skills:

*** Prior experience in industrial field measurement or similar environments.
* Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawing standards.
* Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and customers.
** Compensation Range**$20.00 - $40.00
* The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
