As a Security Officer - Weekend Patrol Officer in Houston, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as commercial real estate. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes as needed, greet tenants and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate observations clearly to your team.

Day Time – Sat 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Sun 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in a timely, accurate manner, using communication tools as directed by site policy.

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
