Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on qualifications (paid bi-weekly)

First Responder Protective Services is currently hiring 3–4 part-time Armed Commissioned Security Officers (Level III) to serve at a private school campus in Houston, TX. This is a year-round school with breaks for major holidays. The full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Officers will provide a visible, professional security presence to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.

• Provide armed protection and maintain a secure campus environment
• Greet and monitor visitor and staff entry points
• Maintain and operate the remote controlled access control gate
• Conduct periodic patrols of school property
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Maintain detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Enforce school safety procedures and company policies
• Remain alert and attentive throughout entire shift
• Follow site-specific post orders and direction from supervisors

• Valid Texas Level III (Commissioned) Security License
• 1-2 Years of experience in school security
• Clean criminal background and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and personal cell phone
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving history
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional conduct, appearance, and demeanor

• Experience in school security, law enforcement, or military service
• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service or public-facing experience
• Prior work in school, campus, or event security
• Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit
• Overtime (1.5x pay) after 40 hours per week
• Company-paid uniforms and duty gear (excluding firearm & holster)
