Overview
The part-time Parking and Security Assistant supports the Security Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all security operations for game days and special events. This role is heavily focused on pre-game preparation, real time event monitoring, and post event clear operations. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and experienced in managing security personnel in a fast-paced live event environment.
DutiesAnd Responsibilities
- Pregame and Event Preparation (Day Before Game)
- Assist with pregame security planning staffing assignments and operational briefings.
- Review event schedules, security posts, VIP movements, and parking plans.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners as needed.
- Ensure all security staff are properly scheduled, informed, and equipped
- Game Day Operations
- Monitor and supervise security officers throughout the event
- Oversee VIP escort operations, ensuring safety, professionalism and discretion
- Monitor back of the house and restricted areas for compliance and security risks.
- Manage and monitor game day parking operations, including VIP and restricted access areas.
- Serve as a point of contact for Security issues, escalations and real time problem solving
- Post Game Operations
- Assist with coordinated post events, clear outs of staff and guest in restricted areas
- Ensure secure shutdown of Back of House spaces and controlled zones
- Report incidents, concerns, and operational feedback to Security Manager
- Prior experience in event security, stadium/arena security, or large-scale operations
- Experience supervising or leading security personnel preferred
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with VIP protocols and access control procedures is a plus
