• Patrol and secure Harris County Hospital District facilities, grounds and parking areas.
• supervise all operations affecting Security Officers/Guards, Guest Relations Rep., Access Control, Parking Services, Investigations, and Personnel training.
• Provide position assignments, review reports for accuracy, and mentor/assist with the development of assigned security team.
• Review reports for accuracy and lead investigations when follow-up is required.
• Oversee continued education and training of veteran personnel and initial training of new personnel.

• Education
  :
  High School Graduate
• Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid Texas Drivers License
  • IAHSS Supervisor Training within six months of employment
  • Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) certification or equivalent within six months (if a certification other than SAMA is held at hire, must be recertified as SAMA upon expiration)
  • Must be Registered by the Texas Private Security Bureau within 90 days of employment
• Work Experience
  :
  Four (4) years in security, criminal justice, military, healthcare, or related fields; or a combination thereof
• Management Experience
  :
  Two (2) years of progressive lead/supervisory experience in security, criminal justice, or military
• Communication Skills
  :
  Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Correspondence, Writing/Reports
• Proficiencies
  : PC
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Work Schedule

• Other Requirements
  : E-1 availability during disaster situations. Proficiency in English (verbal and written). Computer proficiency.
