• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing appropriate de‑escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other disruptive behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during critical incidents as required by site procedures.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed patrol duties.

• A minimum of five years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
