CASS is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for positions at the Michael E DeBakey VA. Security Officers are essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Reporting to the Security Manager, officers will utilize their core skills in security and conflict management to effectively handle various situations. Premium skills in law enforcement and first aid will be invaluable in emergencies, while relevant skills in CCTV and loss prevention enhance security measures.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and a Texas unarmed Security Guard License.
• Must have 2 years security experience.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be a high school graduate/GED equivalent. Experience in contract or proprietary security and/or Military or Law Enforcement preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen and at least 21 years old;
  Must be fluent in English with the ability to read and understand printed regulations, written orders, and instructions.
• Must have excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Must be able to maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Must be physically and mentally fit and capable of performing all normal emergency security duties and responsibilities.
• Must not have a history of substance abuse or domestic violence or any criminal acts.
• The successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license.

A background check, physical exam, and drug and alcohol test are required.
