Join Our Team – Professional Security Officer Needed for Garage Facility

We are currently hiring a dependable and observant Security Officer to maintain safety and security at a high-traffic parking garage located near a high-profile commercial property. This position requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

As the first point of contact for drivers, vendors, and staff entering the facility, you will play a critical role in upholding our company’s commitment to safety, service, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access in and out of the garage
• Conduct regular golf cart patrols of all garage levels, stairwells, and entrances
• Ensure all areas are secure, well-lit, and free of hazards
• Assist tenants, staff, and visitors with directions
• Report suspicious activity, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs using company software
• Enforce property rules and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional security role (garage or similar environment preferred)
• MUST live within 20 miles of site - 77027
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods, including in outdoor conditions
• Professional appearance and demeanor - NO NECK, FACE OR BELOW THE WRIST TATTOS
• Solid judgment and the ability to de-escalate situations when needed

Preferred Experience

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with parking enforcement or garage access systems is a plus
