Primary location: MD Anderson Cancer Center campus in West Houston.
This is a full‑time position with rotating shifts that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary:
Minimum $18.00, midpoint $20.54, maximum $23.08 per hour (based on a 40‑hour work week).

- Provide information, directions, and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Patrol campus by vehicle and on foot to monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards.
- Enforce institutional and parking regulations; issue permits and citations as needed.
- Serve as a Campus Security Authority in compliance with the Clery Act.
- Respond to emergencies and maintain calm, professional judgment under pressure.
- Support institutional policies and ensure a safe environment for all individuals on campus.
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience
- One year of relevant work experience.
- Licenses and Certifications
- Required:
Valid Class A, B, or C Texas driver's license. - Preferred:
International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification.

- Must pass pre‑employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
