What You'll Do:
* Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
* Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions in accordance with site-specific policies.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
* Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel when appropriate, following emergency response activities outlined for the location.
* Communicate security-related information and updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* Have an active Department of Defense Confidential Clearance.
* Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
* Possess an armed guard card or license.
* Possess a college degree.
* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
