As a Security Guard - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Houston, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. In this Patrol Unarmed Officer role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity, and/or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site rules as required by the location.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the site.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
