Location: Houston, TX

Allied Universal®, the North America's leading security and facility services company, invites you to join our dynamic team as a Flex Armed Security Guard. In this role you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including Government, while working in a flexible part‑time schedule that can be tailored to your needs.

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Monitor entry and exit points to deter unauthorized access and/or security‑related incidents.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in accordance with site‑specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site‑specific protocols.
• Follow all emergency response procedures as outlined for the government facility.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or site staff to support a secure environment.

• 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• 6 or more months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific training programs.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day/Time – Mon 06:30 AM – 06:00 PM
