Part-Time Command Center Operator

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking a Part-Time Command Center Operator to join the security team at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. NRG Park hosts four major venues—NRG Center, NRG Stadium, NRG Astrodome, and NRG Arena—and this role involves monitoring all security and television monitors, access control systems, and dispatching response personnel.

• Monitor all surveillance and access control equipment throughout the facility.
• Investigate and dispatch on all safety and security incidents; follow-up with written reports and recommendations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with entities maintaining business offices on the facility.
• Maintain records and compile reports for management on an as‑needed basis.
• Work an irregular schedule to ensure command‑center coverage for all events and scheduled activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Engage in decisions related to camera (CCTV) operation and investigation in a prompt and decisive manner during crisis situations.
• Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, contract security, public safety officials, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Maintain and handle confidential information.

• At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training.

• Good written, verbal, and computer skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and direct contract security according to tenant requests and deadlines.
• Capacity to work effectively under pressure during major or ongoing events.
• Remain focused and produce accurate results while coordinating with first responders and/or investigators.
• Remain flexible and adapt to changing situations.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment and long, irregular hours, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

• Operate standard office equipment and personal computers using Outlook, MS Windows, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, CCTV, and security systems.

• Licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
• Possess any appropriate licenses required by the state.
