- Carry out security‑related procedures and follow site‑specific policies at the location, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the auto industry setting.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and control the movement of individuals and vehicles within the location to deter unauthorized entry.
- Document and report any unusual incidents, security‑related concerns, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security‑related matters and maintain a professional presence.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies, following established protocols for armed security professionals in an auto industry environment.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
