We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated professional to join our client’s team as a Regional Fleet Security, Outreach, and Safety expert. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding fleet operations, championing safety best practices, and forging indispensable relationships with first responders, emergency services, and public safety organizations across an assigned region. Your expertise will directly influence the development of scalable fleet security plans for new initiatives, ensuring safety remains paramount.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your deep knowledge in traffic safety as a recognized subject matter expert, directly impacting the successful and secure deployment of cutting‑edge technology.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and enhance the vehicle recovery program, contributing to policy creation, safety reviews, comprehensive training, and efficient recovery operations.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with local law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and other critical emergency response groups.
  • Deliver essential training sessions on vehicle capabilities and crucial safety protocols for emergency situations.
  • Conduct thorough field investigations, meticulously document findings, and facilitate information requests to support law enforcement and the Security, Legal, and Safety teams.
  • Actively gather feedback to drive continuous improvement in autonomous vehicle technology and emergency response procedures.
  • Review and refine policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with applicable laws and the highest safety best practices.
  • Represent the organization with distinction at key industry events and meetings, advocating for safety and innovation.
Must‑Have:
  • 15+ years of extensive experience in law enforcement, with a significant background in direct traffic enforcement.
  • Possession of ICS certification or completion of advanced courses, coupled with practical experience.
  • Exceptional communication, training, and relationship‑building skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • A substantial network of Law Enforcement contacts (e.g., FBI National Academy).
  • Proven experience in conducting technical investigations and effectively liaising with external stakeholders.
  • A profound understanding of safety best practices and protocols critical during emergencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in a related field such as Public Safety, Transportation, or Emergency Management, and/or certification in traffic safety or investigations.
Nice‑to‑Have:
  • Command‑level experience is highly preferred.
