The Center for Neuroimmunology and Glial Biology, The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
Position SummaryWe are looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative candidates with strong writing and verbal communication skills to join our research team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision within a multidisciplinary, diverse group. This postdoctoral position offers early-career researchers the chance to gain valuable experience, develop independent research skills, learn cutting‑edge techniques, and contribute to advancing scientific knowledge in their area of expertise.
PositionKey Accountabilities
- Plan and conduct experiments, analyze data, and prepare publications describing results.
- Assist in training and mentoring lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees.
- Read and evaluate literature.
- Possess interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels.
- Possesses strong written and oral communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- A recent PhD or equivalent in neuroscience or a related scientific field, or candidates who are soon to complete their PhD.

- Experience in one or more of the following will be an added advantage: molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, cancer biology and/or mouse models.
- Development of new projects for possible grant proposal submission and collaboration with other faculty members are strongly encouraged.
